Formed in 1985, Hillcrest was created to offer a much-needed Residential Block Management service in a market that was lacking a definitive combination of trusted construction industry knowledge and solid financial based services.

Since its formation Hillcrest has grown organically, mainly through word of mouth and personal recommendations. Hillcrest only specialise in Residential Block Management offering bespoke packages to suit client’s individual needs, whether they are looking for the full day-to-day management of their property, an accounts only service or simply for them to arrange the buildings insurance. Hillcrest believe that good communication is the key to a successful working relationship and pride themselves on offering a personal and professional approach to all of their clients.

Insurance

Our excellent relationship with an insurance broker, backed by our extensive property portfolio means that we are able to secure the most competitive rates. The cover obtained is comprehensive and protects you against necessary perils such as fire, water leaks, subsidence and terrorism.

As part of our commitment to client protection, we recommend that all Directors consider a D&O policy. It is designed to safeguard the Directors from any personal liability through the decisions they make. Together with providing concise information about this type of insurance, we will also source excellent rates of cover.

We also offer an Insurance Only Service where you wish to continue to self-manage your block but would like to obtain cheaper Buildings Insurance. We are confident that we can obtain for you a better price for your cover once it is placed under our block policy. We will then also deal with and administer any claims made.

Our offices are equipped with fully computerised accounting systems that allow us to easily create and manage: Profit and Loss Reports, Statements, Balance sheets, Budgets, Arrears Statements and programmable Cash Flow Forecasts.

We ensure that all of our associate accountants are ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) registered which guarantees peace of mind that all your Final Accounts are prepared in accordance with the special provisions laid out by the FRSSE (Financial Reporting Standard for Small Entities).

Your Service Charge payments are held in a specially created trust Bank Account which is unique to your property. Interest earned on the money paid goes directly into your fund - not to us. We also open a separate Reserve Account, attracting a higher rate of interest.
